Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Made in Heaven Season-2’, ‘The Jengaburu Case’, ‘Por Thozhil’, and ‘The Kashmir Files: Unreported’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Amala (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 14th August)
The psychological thriller movie features Anarkali Marikar in the titular role of Amala and the film’s story revolves around a series of murders executed by a psychopath killer and how a cop tries to crack the case.
Taali (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 15th August)
The web series revolves around the story of transgender activist Gauri Sawant (played by Sushmita Sen) and the struggles she had to endure during her incredible journey. It also focuses on how the third gender came to be included in the official documents.
Chatrapathi (Streaming on Zee5 from 15th August)
The action-drama movie revolves around a man named Shiva, who is separated from his mother and a jealous stepbrother and reaches India. Years later, he still desperately tries to search for his mother, but the situation worsens after his ill-intentioned step brother enters the picture.
Fuh Se Fantasy Season-2 (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 17th August)
The erotic romantic drama anthology series focuses on modern relationships, fantasies, and the complications which arise related to the characters’ deepest and quirkiest desires.
Guns & Gulaabs (Streaming on Netflix from 18th August)
Set in the 1990s period, Raj & DK’s comedy crime series features Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah in the lead roles. The story takes place in a crime-infested place called Gulaabgunj and how a drug deal brings together a big city cop and a mechanic seeking love.
AP Dhillon: First of a Kind (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 18th August)
The four-part docuseries follows the incredible life story of Punjabi pop star AP Dhillon and his journey from an ordinary boy from Punjab to becoming a self-made superstar and an international music sensation.
