Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Jee Karda’, ‘Pichaikkaran 2’, ‘Shaitan’, and ‘Rafuchakkar’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Social Currency (Streaming on Netflix from 22nd June)
The reality series focuses on a group of eight social media celebrities who compete with each other to bag the mantle of the best influencer and that too without the advantage of their fame and following.
Kerala Crime Files (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 23rd June)
The six-part Malayalam web series revolves around a mysterious and gruesome murder which happens in a suburban lodge room and how a group of six cops investigate the case with just one clue – a fake address.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Streaming on Zee5 from 23rd June)
Helmed by Farhad Samji, the action-drama movie features Salman Khan as an upright vigilante who fights against the unruly elements of the society and makes it his mission to protect his girlfriend’s family from a killer.
The Kerala Story (Streaming on Zee5 from 23rd June – TBA)
The movie follows the story of three girls from various regions of the State of Kerala including the main character of an aspiring nurse Shalini (played by Adah Sharma). The film’s basic plot is about the painful journey and how these girls are abducted and later forced to join ISIS and Shalini’s eventual imprisonment.
Tiku Weds Sheru (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 23rd June)
The romantic drama movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avnit Kaur in the roles of a junior artist and an aspiring actress, respectively, and how their worlds collide in the city of dreams – Mumbai.
Agent (Streaming on SonyLIV from 23rd June)
The film follows an aspiring RAW agent Ricky (Akhil Akkineni), who is recruited by RAW chief Colonel Mahadev (Mammootty). His mission is to track a former agent known as The God (Dino Moreo), who has gone rogue and operates a dangerous terrorist organization in Budapest. Sakshi Vaidya plays the female lead in the film.
