Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Kerala Crime Files’, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, and ‘Social Currency’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Lust Stories 2 (Streaming on Netflix from 29th June)
The ‘Lust Stories’ sequel comprises four short films directed by four different filmmakers namely R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. Based on the themes of love, sex, and desire, the anthology features Kajol, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah, Vijay Verma, Angad Bedi, and Tillotama Shome, amongst other cast members.
The Night Manager Part-2 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 30th June)
The Indian adaptation of the popular British series of the same name features Aditya Roy Kapoor in the titular role of a night manager, who is pulled into a high-stakes game where he must face a dangerous arms dealer (Anil Kapoor).
Afwaah (Streaming on Netflix from 30th June)
Helmed by Sudhir Mishra, the film revolves around an advertising professional Rahab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and a political heiress Nivi (Bhumi Pednekar) whose lives suddenly take a U-turn after an ill-intentioned rumour is spread by an influential politician.
Lakadbaggha (Streaming on Zee5 from 30th June)
The action thriller movie features Anshuman Jha (Love, Sex Aur Dhokha) as an animal lover and a martial arts expert, who transforms into a vigilante after learning about an illegal animal trade cell in Kolkata.
Sergeant (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 30th June)
Directed by Prawaal Raman, the action thriller cop drama movie is set in London and revolves around a police officer Sergeant Nikhil Sharma (Randeep Hooda), who is trying to solve a mysterious murder case while dealing with his personal problems.
Veeran (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 30th June)
The superhero movie follows the story of a young boy Kumaran, who is struck by lightning and falls into a brief coma. But the incident bestows him with supernatural powers which he uses to save his village from an evil scientist and businessman.
