Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Pippa’, ‘Ghoomer’, and ‘The Road’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Apurva (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 15th November)
On her way to Agra to give a surprise to her lover, the protagonist Apurva (played by Tara Sutaria) gets kidnapped by a group of hardened criminals. How she transforms into a strong girl and fights back form the film’s basic plot. It also features Rajpal Yadav and Abhishek Banerjee in important roles.
Leo (Streaming on Netflix from 16th November – TBA)
Lokesh Kanagraj’s action thriller movie follows a mild-mannered café owner Leo (played by Vijay), who becomes a hero overnight after a fight with a bunch of criminals. But the incident brings back his dark past, which threatens to destroy his happy family.
Chithha (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 17th November)
The rural drama movie follows the story of a man (Siddharth), whose life takes an adverse turn after his eight-year-old niece suddenly goes missing.
Kannur Squad (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 17th November)
The Malayalam language cop thriller movie features veteran actor Mammootty in the role of a determined police officer, who leads a four-member team to catch an elusive group of criminals and bring them back.
Sukhee (Streaming on Netflix from 17th November)
The comedy drama movie features Shilpa Shetty in the role of a Punjabi housewife in her late 30s. Bored of her mundane existence, she decides to attend her high school reunion in Delhi.
The Railway Men (Streaming on Netflix from 18th November)
Set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the web series revolves around the courageous efforts of a group of railway workers, who try their best to save lives after the unfortunate incident. It features R. Madhavan, Kay Key Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, amongst others.
