Top Netflix Titles for December 1st Half: Money Heist, Aranyak & More

OTT giant Netflix has many exciting films and series titles lined up for release during the first half of the month of December, that is, from 1st December 2021 to 15th December 2021. In this article, we have shortlisted for our readers a list of top Indian and foreign films and series titles that will stream on Netflix in December first half.

The Power of the Dog (Streaming from 1st December)

The period western drama follows the story of two brothers Phil Burbank (Benedict Cumberbatch) and George Burbank (Jesse Plemons), who are Montana-based wealthy ranchers. The former portrays himself as raw and brutal while the latter is sensitive and kind-hearted. Things take an interesting turn when a widowed inn owner Rose Gordon and her son enter the brothers’ lives. The film has been directed by Oscar-winner Jane Campion.

Lost in Space Season 3 (Streaming from 1st December)

The space explorers Robinson family will be back on Netflix for the last time in the third season of the science fiction series Lost in Space. The series takes place after the events of the second season finale where the parents were separated from their kids. The new season would showcase the Robinson family’s attempt to reunite amidst the greatest alien threat. And Will, Judy, and Penny Robinson along with the Robot must lead a large group of young colonists in a difficult evacuation.

Money Heist: Part 5 Volume 2 (Streaming from 3rd December)

Money Heist volume-1 part-5 of the show began streaming on Netflix from 3rd September while the second volume will release on 3rd December. While the precise plot of the upcoming volume of the gripping heist drama is being kept under the wraps, the show would ostensibly conclude the story of the Professor and his group of robbers.

Money Heist: From Tokyo to Berlin Volume 2 (Streaming from 3rd December)

It’s the second season of the behind-the-scenes documentary featuring ‘Money Heist’ characters like Professor and Tokyo through which they narrate their experiences while shooting for the cult series. It’s set to release on the same day as Money Heist: Part 5 Volume 2.

Cobalt Blue (Streaming from 3rd December)

Based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Sachin Kundalkar, its Netflix film adaptation revolves around a brother-sister duo (played by Neelay Mehendale and Anjali Sivaraman) who both fall in love with their charming paying guest (Prateik Babbar), thereby creating ripples in their orthodox Marathi family.

Voir (Streaming from 6th December)

It’s a six-episode documentary series executive produced by veteran filmmaker David Fincher (Seven, Fight Club, Gone Girl) which is a tribute of sorts for the love of cinema. Each episode of the docuseries will be narrated in the form of video essays focussing on the craft of filmmaking and how some films changed the way cinema is made and viewed.

Aranyak (Streaming from 10th December)

The upcoming Netflix crime drama series starring Raveena Tandon, Saurav Khurana, and Ashutosh Rana revolves around the investigation of a missing foreign teenage tourist by two disparate cops which leads them to a mythical killer creature lurking in the forest.

The Unforgivable (Streaming from 10th December)

An adaptation of the British miniseries titled ‘Unforgiven’, the movie features Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock as Ruth Slater, a woman who attempts to re-join a reluctant society after getting released from prison owing to a violent crime committed in the past. Her only hope for redemption remains in her search for her estranged sister whom she had left behind.
