Friday is invariably an exciting day for OTT viewers and today is no exception. Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. Delhi Crime Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix)
International Emmy Award-winning show features Shefali Shah as senior cop DCP Vartika Chaturvedi alongside proficient actors like Rajesh Tailang (Mirzapur, Selection Day), Rasika Dugal (Mirzapur, Out of Love) and Adil Hussain (English Vinglish, Agent Vinod), amongst others. The second season follows a fictionalized take on a true crime that follows the cop’s new case which revolves around the killings of several senior citizens in the capital city by a mysterious group of killers.
Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
Acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi reprises his role as the well-intentioned advocate Madhav Mishra in the third instalment of the ‘Criminal Justice’ legal drama web series directed by Rohan Sippy. This time, the protagonist must face a strong-willed opponent (Shweta Basu Prasad) in his toughest case ever. The case is about the murder of a child star where the victim’s own brother becomes the prime suspect, who Madhav Mishra has to defend in the court.
Samaritan (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The film’s plotline follows a thirteen-year-old boy Sam (Javon Walton), who begins to suspect that his seemingly ordinary and reserved neighbour Joe (Sylvester Stallone) might be the legendary superhero who is missing for many years.
Tirandaj Shabor (Streaming on Hoichoi)
Helmed by Arindam Sil, the mystery thriller movie narrates the story of a taxi driver Sumit (Nigel Akkara), who takes a seriously ill passenger to the police station. But the story takes an interesting turn when the driver himself is held as a suspect by the cops after the passenger is later found dead. ACP Shabor Dasgupta (Saswata Chatterjee) and his junior Nanda (Subhrajit Dutta) begin to investigate the mysterious case to catch the culprit.
Seoul Vibe (Streaming on Netflix)
The South Korean action movie is set amidst the backdrop of the 1988 Seoul Olympics and the story follows a group of drivers who go undercover to unearth the massive corruption behind large scale money laundering masterminded by a powerful person.
ImMATURE Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The romantic comedy drama web series revolves around the lives of its characters Dhruv, Chhavi, Kabir and Susu, youngsters who are on the verge of entering adulthood and how they deal with their friendships, romantic relationships, and studies.
Petromax (Streaming on Voot Select)
The comedy drama movie follows the story of four characters who were all raised up in an orphanage. Craving for parental love, they meet a woman named Sudha Murthy, who gives her place on rent. How the woman bonds with the now settled orphans and vice versa forms the film’s underlying premise.
Me Time (Streaming on Netflix)
The comedy film narrates the story of a devoted family man who, after many years, finally finds some time for himself when his wife and children are away for a few days. He takes the golden opportunity to reconnect with his former close friend and together they have a blast during a wild and adventurous weekend.
Loving Adults (Streaming on Netflix)
The thriller movie is based on Anna Ekberg’s novel ‘Till Death Do Us Apart’ and follows the relationship between a husband and a wife after the wife finds out about her husband’s secret affair and how their friendship turns into enmity.
Odela Railway Station (Streaming on Aha Video)
Helmed by Ashok Teja, the crime thriller movie is apparently inspired by real life incidents which happened in Odela town around two decades ago. The film’s story is about the rape and murder of a newly married woman and how the police investigate the case of a psychopathic killer.
Men (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video – PPV)
Alex Garland’s horror movie follows a widowed woman named Harper (Jessie Buckley), who goes on a solo trip to the scenic English countryside. But the vacation turns out to be a nightmare for her as she is disturbed by mysterious men in the village.
