The action thriller movie features Adivi Sesh in the lead role of a police officer named Krishna Dev ‘KD’. The basic storyline of the sequel revolves around a perplexing investigation of a gruesome murder of a woman by a serial killer. The cop’s desperate efforts to nab the culprit forms the film’s underlying plot.
Taaza Khabar (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
The six-part action-comedy web series features popular Youtuber Bhuvan Bam in the lead role of a sanitation worker, who is blessed with a gift to know about news which is yet to be out in public. It also features Shriya Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, and JD Chakravarthy, amongst others.
The Pale Blue Eye (Streaming on Netflix)
The suspense thriller movie set in the year 1830 features Christian Bale as an experienced detective named Augustus Landor, who accepts the case of the killing of a West Point military cadet. He takes the help of another young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe (played by Harry Melling) to unearth the mystery.
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the family drama film features Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani in the roles of three friends who decide to travel to the Everest base Camp in order to fulfil the wish of their deceased friend (Danny Denzongpa). The movie also features Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Nafisa Ali.
Helmed by Charlotte Wells and set during the 1990 period, the critically acclaimed movie follows an eleven-year-old girl Sophie, who reminisces about time spent with her father twenty years ago in a vacation resort.
Directed by Sampath Kumar Thota, the dark comedy thriller Telugu web series revolves around three friends who land up in trouble and are stuck on an island after their friend goes missing.
Mumbai Mafia: Police Vs the Underworld (Streaming on Netflix)
The true crime documentary film focuses on the turbulent times during the 1990s period in Mumbai and the violent battle between the rising force of encounter specialists and the dreaded underworld gang – the D-Company.
Saudi Vellakka (Streaming on SonyLIV)
Helmed by Tharun Moorthy, the Malayalam drama movie follows the story of Abhilash Sasidharan, who gets a summons warrant by the court. Later, he learns that it’s because of a trivial issue which was exaggerated into something unnecessarily big, and which has now impacted multiple lives.
Shikarpur (Streaming on Zee5)
The Bengali mystery drama web series features Ankush Hazra in the role of a small-time detective who investigates killings happening in the titular hill town of Shikarpur.
Story of Things (Streaming on SonyLIV)
Helmed by George K Antoney, the five-episode Tamil anthology series which focuses on human stories, their relationships, and stories that diminish the difference between the real and the surreal.
Crossfire (Streaming on Lionsgate Play)
The BBC thriller series features Keeley Hawes as a former cop Jo Cross, who goes on a vacation with her family to a resort in Canary Islands. But soon, her seemingly perfect getaway turns into their biggest nightmare after a group of criminals attack the place where they are staying.
The Files of Young Kindaichi (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
The Japanese mystery drama series follows the titular high school student who is blessed with a fine intellect. With the help of his friends, he tries to investigate and solve complex murder mysteries using the clues which he finds along the way.
Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne (Streaming on Zee5)
The Punjabi language comedy movie features Daljit Dosanjh in the role of a man named Jaggi, who hatches a crazy plan with his friends – to adopt a father in order to claim a handsome insurance amount after the adopted father’s death.
Naai Sekar Returns (Streaming on Netflix)
The comedy movie features Vadiveli in the titular role of Naai Sekar, a small-time criminal who runs into big trouble after he kidnaps the dog of a dreaded gangster. Now, he must try to save himself from the gangster’s wrath.
