Friday is invariably an exciting day for OTT viewers and today is no exception. Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top streaming titles (in no particular order) that are already out or will be out on Indian OTT platforms today.
Jogi (Streaming on Netflix)
The film is set in the year 1984 in Delhi against the brutal backdrop of the anti-Sikh riots and the plot revolves around how the protagonist (played by actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh) takes up the daredevil task of transporting a large group of people from Delhi to Mohali.
Dahan (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
The nine-part supernatural thriller web series features Tisca Chopra (Taare Zameen Par) as an IAS officer who investigates mysterious paranormal occurrences in an apparently cursed village called Shilaspura. The show also features Rajesh Tailang, Mukesh Tiwari, and Saurabh Shukla in interesting roles.
Vikrant Rona – Hindi/Telugu/Tamil (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
Helmed by Anup Bhandari, the action-adventure movie features Sudeep in the titular role of an eccentric cop Vikrant Rona, who investigates mysterious events in a secluded village which are believed to be of a supernatural nature.
Goodnight Mommy (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The mystery thriller follows the story of twin brothers Elias and Lucas (played by Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti), who reach their mother’s (Naomi Watts) home and find out that she has hidden her face with bandages. The reason given by her is cosmetic surgery. But her strange behaviour leads them to believe that the woman might not be their mother.
Attention Please (Streaming on Netflix)
Helmed by Jithin Issac Thomas, the film revolves around a bunch of movie loving youngsters and the story moves forward by way of intriguing but disturbing storytelling sessions narrated by one of the main characters Hari (played by Vishnu Govindan).
The Roundup (Streaming on BookMyShow Stream)
Helmed by Lee Sang-yong, the action crime movie is a sequel to the 2017 film ‘The Outlaws’. The film’s plot follows Detective Ma Suk-Do (Ma Dong-Seok), who is sent on a mission to Vietnam to bring back a fugitive suspect. But after discovering something fishy, he sets out to investigate a series of killings committed by a ruthless killer named Kang Hae-sang.
College Romance Season-3 (Streaming on SonyLIV)
Helmed by Parijat Joshi, the romantic drama show revolves around the lives of college going friends and features Apoorva Arora, Gagan Arora, Keshav Sadhna, and Shreya Mehta in the main roles.
Do Revenge (Streaming on Netflix)
The dark comedy movie revolves around two high school students Drea (Camila Mendes) and Eleanor (Maya Hawke), who strike an unlikely friendship and decide to take revenge from each other’s bullies.
Kerosene (Streaming on Aha Video)
The crime thriller movie whose story revolves around an investigation into several case of rape and murder where the bodies of victims are brutally burned with kerosene by the killer using the same modus operandi.
X (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
Helmed by Ti West, the slasher horror movie revolves around a bunch of young filmmakers who are trying to make an adult film in a rural region of Texas. But the story takes a U-turn after they start getting killed one by one by unusual killers.
A Private Affair (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The eight-episode Spanish series follows the adventures of an affluent and brave woman Marina Quiroga (Aura Garrido), who teams up with her loyal butler Hector (Jean Reno), to catch an elusive serial killer in 1940s Spain.
The Chelsea Detective (Streaming on BookMyShow Stream)
The mystery crime show follows DI Max Arnold (Adrian Scarborough) who, along with his partner DS Priya Shamsie (Sonita Henry), solves mysterious crimes in the posh London’s Chelsea neighbourhood.
Santo (Streaming on Netflix)
The Spanish crime thriller series is about two disparate cops Millan and Cardona, who must set aside their differences and team up to catch an elusive and most wanted drug dealer, whose face has not been revealed.
