Top OTT Titles Streaming Today: Last Film Show, Chup & More

Friday is invariably an exciting day for OTT viewers and today is no exception. Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top streaming titles (in no particular order) that are already out or will be out on Indian OTT platforms today.

Last Film Show / Chhello Show (Streaming on Netflix)

The film’s plot follows a nine-year-old boy named Samay, who lives in a remote village in Gujarat. After discovering the magic of films, he makes it his mission to become a filmmaker himself. It has been directed by Pan Nalin and is India’s official entry for the Academy Awards.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

Helmed by James Gunn, the action-adventure TV special revolves around the team of the Guardians of the Galaxy, who travel to Earth to find the best Christmas gift for their half-human half-celestial charismatic leader Peter Quill aka Star-Lord (played by Chris Pratt).

Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (Streaming on Netflix)

Neeraj Pandey’s crime action-drama series revolves around the violent face-off between an upright super-cop and a dreaded criminal amidst the backdrop of chaos, violent and rampant corruption. It features an ensemble cast that includes Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwari, Abhimanyu Singh, Ravi Kishan, Ashutosh Rana, and Anup Soni, amongst others.

Chup (Streaming on Zee5)

The psychological romance thriller movie follows a Mumbai-based, disgruntled psychopath, who targets those film critics who he thinks have not done justice to the films they have reviewed. After a series of brutal killings, a senior cop makes it his mission to track the culprit and bring him to justice. Helmed by R. Balki, the film features Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Pooja Bhatt, in pivotal roles.

India Vs New Zealand 1st ODI (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

After winning the T20 series, the men in blue are all set to take on the Kiwis in Auckland, New Zealand in the first ODI match of the three-match series. The Indian team will be led by left-handed batsman Shikhar Dhawan.

Padavettu (Streaming on Netflix)

The political action thriller movie focuses on the oppressed segment of people in Northern Kerala. The film’s plot follows the protagonist Ravi (played by Nivin Pauly), who takes a stand against an opportunist politician and becomes the saviour of the oppressed and the downtrodden in his village.

Meet Cute (Streaming on SonyLIV)

The Telugu language anthology narrates five heart-rending stories where the characters meet in an accidental way. The plotline ranges from a girl’s reluctance for arranged marriage meeting, a mother-son story, two women who fall for the same person, and a popular person who shares a ride with a complete stranger, etc.

Prince (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

Anudeep KV’s bilingual drama features Sivakarthikeyan alongside Ukrainian actor Maria Ryaboshapka, and Sathyaraj. The film’s story is about a Pondicherry-based teacher who falls for a beautiful British teacher who works in the same school. He tries to woo her and eventually marry her, much to the chagrin of the society they live in.

Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich (Streaming on Netflix)

The documentary film focuses on the sex-trafficking trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, the Oxford-educated daughter of an infamous media tycoon and who was also an accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein. It’s narrated from the point of view of the survivors.

Girls Hostel Season-3 (Streaming on SonyLIV)

Directed by Hanish D Kalia, the comedy drama show follows the story of four girls and how they deal with their relationships and face and fight several personal crises in their lives. Get set to go back and revisit your hostel days once again.

Paradise City (Streaming on Lionsgate Play)

Directed by Chuck Russell, the action flick follows the story of Ryan (Blake Jenner), a son who sets out to avenge the killing of his bounty hunter father (Bruce Willis), who is presumed dead after getting shot. But he must face a ruthless kingpin (John Travolta) to complete his mission.

Blood & Water Season-3 (Streaming on Netflix)

The South African mystery drama series follows the story of Puleng, a Cape Town-based teenage girl who meets a renowned athlete Fikile, at a party. Puleng begins to suspect that Fikile is her own sister who was kidnapped just after birth. So, she decides to investigate the mystery herself by enrolling herself in the same school where Fikile studies.
