Top OTT Titles Streaming Today: Plan A Plan B, Hocus Pocus 2 & More

Friday is invariably an exciting day for OTT viewers and today is no exception. Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top streaming titles (in no particular order) that are already out or will be out on Indian OTT platforms today.

Plan A Plan B (Streaming on Netflix)

Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the romantic comedy movie revolves around two disparate individuals played by Tamannaah Bhatia and Riteish Deshmukh. The woman’s character is that of a matchmaker who opines that marriage is for everyone excluding herself. While the man in the love story is a successful but cynical divorce lawyer who harbors a secret of his own. When the matchmaker moves her office beside the lawyer, the situation gets complex, and sparks fly.

Hocus Pocus 2 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

It’s the sequel to the 1993 supernatural comedy movie ‘Hocus Pocus’ which revolved around three witches named Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy), who are inadvertently brought back by a teenage boy on a Halloween night 300 years after they were executed for the murder of a young girl. The sequel is set 29 years after the first film and follows three high school girls who must stop the Sanderson sisters from executing their nefarious plans.

Karm Yuddh (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

Directed by Ravi Adhikari, the Kolkata-set eight-episode series follows various family members of the Roy family and their battle of thrones for gaining control over one common thing – the thriving Roy Industries business group. The show features a talented cast that includes Satish Kaushik, Rajesh Khattar, Ashutosh Rana, Paoli Dam, amongst others.

My Best Friend’s Exorcism (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

Based on Grady Hendrix’s novel of the same name, the 1980s set horror movie follows the relationship between two best friends Abby and Gretchen. But during a perfect getaway, their lives take a U-turn when Abby begins to believe Gretchen has been possessed by a demon.

Theerppu (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

The thriller movie follows a group of four childhood friends Ramkumar (Vijay Babu), Kalyan (Indrajith), Parameshwaran (SAiju Kurup) and Abdulla (Prithiviraj), who have a dark past they share with each other. Tensions arise when, after many years, the friends reunite at Ramkumar’s, thereby leading to unexpected consequences.

Captain (Streaming on Zee5)

The sci-fi action movie features Arya as a tough soldier, who, along with his elite team, is sent on a covert mission to track a mysterious killer creature which is suspected to be of an alien origin. The movie has been helmed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. The film also features Aishwarya Lekshmi, Simran, Harish Uthaman, and Kavya Shetty, amongst other cast members.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever (Streaming on Apple TV+)

Helmed by Peter Farrelly and based on a true story set in 1967, the war action-comedy movie features Zac Efron as a merchant seaman named John Donohue. During a drunken night in a bar, John accepts a wild mission and decides to sneak into Vietnam amidst an escalating war, track his friends and give them American beer as a mark of support.

Shakini Dhakini (Streaming on Netflix)

The action-comedy movie follows the story of two police trainees and close friends Damini and Shalini (played by Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas), who become witnesses to the kidnapping of a girl. The cop duo teams up to track the girl and punish the culprits without much assistance from the department.

Bodhon (Streaming on Hoichoi)

Directed by Aditya Roy, the Bengali language web series features Sandipta Sen and Ditipriya Roy in the lead roles and the story revolves around two women named Raka, a college professor and Shinjini, a victim, and their common fight for carving a place for women in the society.

Entergalactic (Streaming on Netflix)

It’s an animated TV special which follows a charming artist Jabari, who falls in love with the next-door photographer neighbour Meadow. But he must figure out whether he can balance his profession and his love life together.

Vortex (Streaming on Mubi)

The French psychological drama movie follows the story of an aged couple Lui (Dario Argento) and Elle (Francoise Lebrun) as they live their final days while dealing with deteriorating health and dementia.

Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga (Streaming on Prime Video)

The Punjabi language comedy drama movie revolves around a married couple Gurmel (Gippy Grewal) and Beant (Tanu Grewal) who have lost spark in their relationship over the years. Both of them create fake social media accounts to add spice in their lives but end up chatting with each other without knowing it.

Mad Company (Streaming on Aha Video)

Written and directed by Vignesh Vijayakumar, the series features Prasanna, Dhanya Balakrishna and Kaniha, amongst other cast members. The underlying story is based on a unique business idea which lets people hire trained actors to play various roles in the lives of those persons who want to experience a relationship they never had. For E.g., a grandparent, a sibling, etc. All this at just the click of a button.

The Roundup (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

Helmed by Lee Sang-yong, the action crime movie is a sequel to the 2017 film ‘The Outlaws’. The film’s plot follows Detective Ma Suk-Do (Ma Dong-Seok), who is sent on a mission to Vietnam to bring back a fugitive suspect. But after discovering something fishy, he sets out to investigate a series of killings committed by a ruthless killer named Kang Hae-sang.
