Friday is invariably an exciting day for OTT viewers and today is no exception. Mumbaikar (Streaming on Jio Cinema)
Helmed by Santosh Sivan set in the maximum city, the action thriller movie ostensibly revolves around the lives of a group of youngsters in a big city and how their stories are somehow interlinked. It features Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi and Ranvir Shorey in important roles.
Manifest Season-4 Part-2 (Streaming on Netflix)
The mystery sci-fi series revolves around a group of passengers who somehow safely land after a turbulent flight. However, they soon learn that five years have already passed mysteriously in such a short time and the world has moved on after assuming that they were gone forever. They soon realize that their second chance is meant for something greater.
Ponniyin Selvan 2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video – Rent Free)
The star-studded PS-1 sequel is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of the same name and chronicles the account of the early days of Arulmozhi Varman, who later became the great Chola emperor Rajaraja Chola I.
School of Lies (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
The mystery thriller web series revolves around the sudden disappearance of a 12-year-old boy from a private boarding school, thereby revealing some dark secrets about the place. It features Nimrat Kaur in a major role of a school counsellor.
Evil Dead Rise (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, BMS Stream – Rent)
The fifth ‘Evil Dead’ horror movie revolves around a family which comprises two estranged sisters and their three kids. After one of the kids accidentally unleashes an evil force inside their LA apartment, it’s up to the protagonist to save the kids from flesh possessing demons.
Hatyapuri (Streaming on Zee5)
Directed by Sandip Ray, the mystery film features Indraneil Sengupta as the iconic detective who finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation during a leisure trip to the coastal town of Puri.
Taj: Reign of Revenge Season-2 Part-2 (Streaming on Zee5)
Set many years after the events shown in ‘Taj: Divided By Blood’, the period drama series revolves around how Salim attempts to exact revenge for his deceased lover Anarkali’s death and his plans to ascend the throne.
Ghar Banduk Biryani (Streaming on Zee5)
The Marathi action-comedy movie narrates the story of an expert cook who yearns for a home, another person who is a rebel who wants revenge and an honest cop who transferred to another place.
Ugram (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The action thriller movie follows a cop (Allari Naresh), who is pursuing a missing persons case. But after his family goes missing after an accident, he makes it his mission to find them in a race against time.
Vishwak (Streaming on Zee5)
The film revolves around the titular protagonist Vishwak (played by Ajay Kathuvur), an aspiring entrepreneur who wants to settle in his hometown. He tries to find investors for his innovative business idea, but they coerce him to implement the business plan abroad.
Maharashtra Shahir (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
Helmed by Kedar Shinde, the biographical movie is based on the life of the legendary Maharashtrian singer, writer, and iconic Marathi theatre director Krushnarao Sable.
Deadloch (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
Set in the titular town of Deadloch, the Australian series revolves around three disparate detectives who must set aside their differences and work together after the death of a local man.
