Shiv Shastri Balboa (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The film revolves around Shiv Shastri (Anupam Kher), a retired banker and a diehard fan of Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Rocky Balboa’ movies. He relocates to America to live with his son Rahul (played by Jugal Hansraj) and forms a unique bond with a housemaid (Neena Gupta), who wants to celebrate her granddaughter’s birthday. Together, the duo embarks on a (mis)adventurous road trip to Philadelphia.
Ishq-e-Nadaan (Streaming on Jio Cinema)
Directed by Avishek Ghosh, it’s a romantic drama anthology movie where the goings-on take place in a bustling metro city. It features a talented cast which includes Mohit Raina, Neena Gupta, Lara Dutta, Kanwaljit Singh, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, amongst others.
Bird Box Barcelona (Streaming on Netflix)
The post-apocalyptic movie is a Spanish spin-off to the 2018 film ‘Bird Box’ starring Sandra Bullock in the lead role. The story is about how a father-daughter duo roam around the deserted streets of Barcelona and try to survive after the world is destroyed by a powerful and dangerous entity.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The romantic drama series is based on the second novel of Jenny Han’s bestselling book trilogy of the same name. The plot revolves around the love triangle between Belly and her friends – the two brothers Jeremiah and Conrad while they reunite at a beach house.
Maya Bazaar for Sale (Streaming on Zee5)
The basic plot of the Telugu series focuses on a posh gated community called Maya Bazaar which houses people from different walks of life. But the lives of the residents take a drastic turn when they are informed that their houses will be demolished because of illegal construction.
