After a few tumultuous weeks, the trailer for the highly anticipated direct-to-OTT releasing ‘Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham‘ finally dropped… And it is a montage of characters descending into pandemonium made into a 90-second promo. The trailer was released on the official YouTube channel of Disney Plus Hotstar and the streaming platform has also provided a premiere date – which is next month. As mentioned earlier, the promo video of ‘Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham’ is quite crazy. While most of the trailer is completely unexplainable, here is what we know:
Nivin Pauly is playing a politician who only cares about his work and hanging out with his friends. His neglected wife of two years is fed up and decides to go with him on a trip to reignite their passion, by going away to Idukki for a couple of days. However, the hotel which the couple decided to stay for the weekend, turns out to have a very weird reputation.
‘Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham‘ made the news a few days ago when it was announced that the movie will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar in the near future. So when the movie premieres on the OTT platform, it will become the first Malayalam movie to release directly for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Malayalam movies have been in high demand for OTT release with Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5 and even Netflix getting in on the action. Disney+ Hotstar is late in comparison, but it has landed a pretty big film for its platform. All we have to do now is wait for the movie to release next month.
The upcoming Malayalam movie, ‘Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham’ is expected to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 12th.
