Successful Kannada film, Bell Bottom is releasing on Aha Video on 11th of this month. They have intensified the promotions with the release of the teaser the other day and the trailer today.
Going by trailer, The story is – Diwakar is very inspired by the detective films he watched since childhood. However, everyone around him including his father tries to pull him down. He becomes a police constable only to be humiliated by his higher officers. But solving one case changes everything. But one robbery in his own police station becomes a headache.
Coming to the trailer, it is long at three minutes. The idea of introducing the story with Harikatha song is interesting. The premise of an underrated detective is also not anything new but the comedy looks promising in the trailer. We have seen films like Chantabbai and Agent Sathya Srinivas Athreya. The success of the movie will all depend on the funny problems he faces in solving the cases and the twists involved.
Since it is already the dubbing version of a successful Kannada film, we can believe it should work provided there are no nativity issues coming in the way of the viewing experience. OTT releases are usually given liberty by the audience on that front. Recent dubbing films on Aha Video are of good quality and the dubbing is also fine. That should make up for nativity issues if any.
