Netflix dropped in the trailer for Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam starrer “Ginny Weds Sunny” and this one looks like a full-on hindi masala movie with fun, laughter, drama, emotion and love. Ginny Weds Sunny will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 9th October, 2020.
The trailer begins with single Sunny (Vikrant Massey) meeting a prospective bride at a restaurant but the girl’s plan of having a one year courtship doesn’t go down well with Sunny who also dreams of opening his own restaurant.
On the other hand we have Ginny (Yami Gautam), a head strong girl who is adamant to have a love marriage. While both meet at a wedding, sparks start flying for Sunny who falls in love at first sight with Ginny.
While Sunny swears to marry Ginny, he pulls out every trick in his hat from cheesy lines, to coffee and movie dates, to outdoor trips, just to impress her. But when things started getting on track there comes a twist in the form of a new character who also likes Ginny.
The drama begins with the confusion and dilemma for Ginny who now has to choose amongst the other guy and Sunny, whom she too has started liking. Who will she choose to have the wedding of the year?
Well the drama is absolutely there in this latest Netflix romantic comedy, it will be fun, lighthearted watch for sure. Moreover, Massey will be seen in a totally different avatar from his past works. Starring Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam in the lead, Ginny Weds Sunny is the directorial début of Punnet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan.
