The Regional 100% Telugu Exclusive OTT Platform, Aha Video has lined up Mail, the Chapter 1 from Kambhalapalli Kathalu for Sankranthi. The web series starring Priyadarshi releases on January 12th. The Trailer is out now.
Mail is set in 2005 in a small village, Kambhalapalli. The teaser is more about Priyadarshi while the Trailer is majorly about Harshith Malgireddy. He plays Ravi Kumar who aspires to become a Software Engineer by pursuing B.Com Computers against all odds. His family and the entire village does not know about computers. He relies on Priyadarshi who sets up a small gaming center in the village.
The twist is that Priyadarshi is some one who thinks a computer gets infected by virus due to lack of cleanliness. Mail seems to be all about Priyadarshi’s innocence and Ravi Kumar’s Ambition combined with problems in his personal life and their journey. Mail seems to be banking on the nostalgic moments which may stir memories of the 90s kids. It also looks backed by some natural performances. Let us see if it can be the first success of Aha Video in 2021.
Written and Directed by Uday Gurrala, Mail has Sweekar Agasthi composing the music. The web series comes from the stable of Swapna Cinemas.
