The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming comedy drama ‘Bhaag Beanie Bhaag‘ is out and the feel-good vibes are coming right through it. Starring Swara Bhaskar in the lead, this latest Netflix original series is a journey of a young woman’s self-exploration. ‘Bhaag Beanie Bhaag’ is coming to Netflix on 4th December, 2020.
The show’s story revolves around a girl Bindiya Akankshi Bhatnagar aka Beanie Bhatnagar who belongs to a normal middle class family and whose life is a regular one. A safe job and a long time boyfriend is all she has. But a marriage proposal from her boyfriend hit her hard.
While the wedding functions begin, she freaks out pretty bad and realises she cannot do it. When Beanie ultimately reveals her dream of doing stand-up to her family and boyfriend it does not go well down the throat of either of them.
She faces a rocky start in her stand-up career but ultimately picks up quite well with the help and guidance from a friend. He makes her realise that failures are a part of the process and also, what she had sacrificed to be there and shouldn’t let it go.
Beanie who had been one of those obedient persons and lived a normal yet boring life and it is only now that she finally starts living her life as she wanted. She is happy and feeling good. But who knows what will happen next, is this her happily ever after or are there going to be twists and turns?
All things aside, Swara Bhaskar as Beanie is such a relatable character for every young woman out there who dreams but rarely gathers up the courage to live that dream. ‘Bhaag Beanie Bhaag’ is a Netflix original series for all such young ladies to know that chasing your dreams will be tough but it will all be worth it in the end.
Swara Bhaskar is joined by Ravi Patel, digital content creator and influencer Dolly Singh, Varun Thakur, Mona Ambegaonkar and Girish Kulkarni in this fun laughter ride on Netflix.
‘Bhaag Beanie Bhaag’ has been directed by Ravi Patel who has co-written the series with Neel Shah who also stars in the show along with him. It has been produced by Seher Latif and Shivani Saran via their Mutant Films India banner alongside Bernard S. David and Ruben Fleischer.
