Paramount Pictures has dropped the official trailer of ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ after releasing the film’s teaser trailer about four months ago. The latest clip gives a closer look at what the fans should expect from the upcoming blockbuster.
Fans will see the Autobots joining forces with the Maximals, descendants of the shapeshifting vehicular protagonists, to help them defeat the evil Predacons. Introduced in the Beast Wars storyline, Maximals have transformed into animal forms to blend in better with their new surroundings on Earth.
Apart from these Transformers races, we will also witness Terrorcons, a faction of Decepticon robots who can combine to create a larger robot called Abominus. All Terrorcons treasure different powers. But, when they take the form of Abominus, the newly transformed robot gains the powers of all Terrorcons.
We see different races of Transformers in the latest trailer. Yes, we should expect to get tons of bombastic action in ‘Rise of the Beasts’. There is even a scene where Bumblebee gets stabbed (Don’t worry, he will be fine!). But most importantly, we hear about Unicron.
Also known as ‘Chaos Bringer’, Unicron will serve as the primary antagonist in the upcoming Transformers flick. He is a humungous robot who is capable of transforming into a planet. We will see Autobots and Maximals teaming up together to defeat Unicron and other evil Transformers in the film.
Live-action Transformers projects always have human characters. This time, we have Anthony Ramos as Noah (a former military electronic expert), Dominique Fishback as Elena Wallace (an archaeologist), and Lauren Velez as Noah’s mother. On the other hand, the voice cast consists of Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Ron Perlman (Optimus Primal), Pete Davidson (Mirage), Michelle Yeoh (Airazor), Peter Dinklage (Scourge), John DiMaggio (Stratosphere), and many more talents.
‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ will arrive in theatres worldwide on June 9. Stay tuned for more updates.
