The movie was a hit at the Indian box office even on its first weekend of release, and it will shortly overtake Rockstar to become the highest-grossing Bollywood re-release.

It saw an increase and made 2.65 crores on Saturday. It surged to 3.04 crores on day three as well, bringing the magnificent three-day total to 7.34 crores at the Indian box office.
In 2018, Tumbbad had a terrible start and earned 3.25 crores during its first weekend of release. In contrast, the picture is performing incredibly well after its re-release, making 7.34 crores, which is 125.84% more than it did during its first weekend of release.
Despite having a budget of 15 crores, the film only made 13.48 crores in revenue and received a flop verdict in 2019. It has a new lease of life now that it is being rerun. With the recent announcement of another part, fans are even more hyped up to see Tumbbad 2 and are re-watching the epic masterpiece amid its re-release.
