In case you guys didn’t know, the lead trio of Marvel’s Spider-man movies – Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon dropped the name of the title of the upcoming Spider-man movie, sequel to Spider-man: Far From Home, a few hours ago. But all three posted three different titles on their instagram accounts and it has been causing a buzz on twitter, with many following up the troll with troll memes of their own, while others discussed the possible inner-meaning of these three title drops. Alongside these troll titles, they also put up a new picture from the movie, each. The instagram posts are down below:
Many have speculated that these three supposed “Trolls” could signify the upcoming villains in the third installation of this Spider-man movie. The green coloured Spider-man logo released by Tom Holland could signify the return of Green Goblin, while the grey-silver colour of the Spider-man logo shown by Jacob Batalon could mean Doc Oc will be appearing in the this movie and the neon pink and blue colours of the Spider-man logo from Zendaya’s post could mean that Electro is coming back (By the way, we knew about all three villains).
Of course, speculating about the upcoming movie is fun. For a movie which is releasing in December, and a movie which hasn’t got a title yet, many fans on twitter have taken it upon themselves to put up some hilarious memes with respect to their posts and in some cases – came up with their own “joke-titles”. And we think this is what the Spider-man “Trolling trio” meant to do – get twitter in a tizzy, while maintaining hype around the movie.
We are not saying the logos are not without easter-eggs (we are not very sure), but we can give this speculation a rest for now, and read the hilarious tweets that have been dropping thanks to the stunt pulled by these three. Check some of them out at the end of the trailer.
