Binged informed its readers that Netflix has announced a new slate of reality shows and documentaries on its platform. With 6 new titles, the new slate is both experimental and exciting.
But as we said, this new slate has only two promising titles which are in the bottom two.
. Indian Matchmaking Season 2
. IRL: In Real Love
. Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale
. Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives Season 2
. Social Currency
. Mumbai Mafia: Police Vs The Underworld
. Indian Predator: Diary Of A Serial Killer
Other than Mumbai Mafia and Indian Predator, others are reality shows which are hardly anticipated by the masses.
The crime documentaries are great but Indian Matchmaking, IRL, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, and Social Currency are not something more than a handful of people want.
So there are mostly three types of responses to the announcement. Nayanthara fans are excited about her wedding shoot which will be streaming soon on Netflix.
The second and enormously prominent response looks like spam. It is from the fan account of an actor called Parth Samthaan. He has worked in a few TV shows and also a couple of films.
Since excitement for his presence in Social Currency has clearly overpowered that of superstar Nayanthara’s wedding footage, it is almost clear that there has been hideous spamming on the announcement video.
Omg finally Social Currency is comiggg😭😭I am laughing..I am crying..I am screaming with happiness..#ParthSamthaan is coming to rule on @NetflixIndia 🔥🔥 Can't wait 🙌🙌#SocialCurrency https://t.co/Ejv4p7LJe8

The third response is trolling which takes a jibe at the pathetic reality shows they are bringing. The audience is bemused as to when Netflix will bring Indian originals which can compete against International standards.

The answer lies only and only with Netflix.
