We have always and always criticised the overall experience of JioCinema. The platform has trashy originals, lots of bugs and my goodness the ads. They brought a premium plan worth Rs 999 last year that gave them access to all the Hollywood content. It includes Warner Bros, HBO Max and other kinds of stuff.
We felt pity for the subscribers because they had to watch ads even after paying the subscription fee. Yes, those 999₹ only allowed you to access Hollywood content, it did not provide you with any sort of ad-free experience. People used ad-blockers to dodge JioCinema, but it isn’t easy for many people who are not very techy.
But, they are gone by age. As the platform has launched two new plans and they are super cheap. Firstly, the platform has launched two monthly plans instead of one annual plan.
They are of Rs 29 and Rs 89. Let’s know the benefit of each one.

It means that if you don’t want ads then you can literally get the JioCinema plan for only ₹29. It would allow you to stream in 4K even. Not only that, if you are taking the subscription with friends or family then monthly subscription per head drops down to ₹22.25 with ₹89 plan.
It is really insane. Most of the Indian titles have gone to the premium category as they won’t be streaming for free anymore. There are still tons of titles to watch for free but hey, they are not watchable at all.
