Universal has cracked the market for animation, with $200M films being their forte. “Trolls Band Together” is their latest creation, which has managed to find success not only in the domestic market but also globally.
Like most Hollywood animations, the makers often underestimate the Indian market for theatrical releases. However, OTT audiences have shown ample love for such titles, and “Trolls Band Together” is no exception.
Now, the film is streaming on Indian OTT platforms and is receiving good responses. However, it is limited by the lack of advertisements from the OTT giants.

The Indian audience is patient and already annoyed by the increasing prices of OTT platforms. Even in the most ideal scenario, they would prefer to stream it on regular OTT platforms rather than VOD models.
