Disney+Hotstar has a mammoth lineup of movies and series in Tamil to come out soon directly on the platform. Some of them were previously considered for a theatrical release but now they will premiere directly on OTT.
The first of them is ‘Vaazhai’ directed by Mari Selvaraj and starring Kalaiyasaran, Nikhila Vimal, and many other actors. There were speculations that it will have a theatrical release but there were changes in decision and it will finally be out as a Hotstar special. It will be a children’s film and will have many child actors too. Nothing much about the film is revealed till now.
The next on the list is ‘MY3’, which will be directed by M. Rajesh and will be starring Hansika Motwani, Mugen Rao, Shanthanu, and Ashna Zaveri as the lead. MY3 will supposedly be a science fiction love story and its release date will be announced soon.
‘Goli Soda: The Rising’ will be a web series directed by Vijay Milton and will star actors like Cheran, Shaam, and Ramya N in lead roles. It will be the third installment of the Goli Soda franchise and will have a fresh story with new character introductions.
‘Marthagam’, is a web series to release soon which will be directed by Prasanth Murugesan and will be starring Tamil actor Atharvaa. The shooting is complete and soon there will be announcements regarding the release of the show. Not much about the plot of the show is revealed till now.
