Here is great news for the fans of romantic cinema. Two of the biggest blockbusters of the genre, one from Bollywood and one from Hollywood are going to re-release in theaters.
James Cameron’s ‘Titanic‘ will be re-releasing in theaters in India on the 10th of February, which is tomorrow. It will be released in three languages, English, Hindi and Tamil. James Cameron previously re-released his 2009 all time blockbuster ‘Avatar’ prior to the release of its sequel. Though, the coming out of ‘Titanic’ does not have such specific promotional objectives as there is no sequel or movie coming out very soon, so, we can guess that it is being brought back to the fans because of its huge popularity.
Yash Raj Films, on the other hand will be releasing the cultural classic ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge‘ tomorrow all over India in national multiplex chains like PVR, INOX and Cinepolis. The film will be run for a week in the halls. The huge success of Pathaan is definitely a thing that might have inspired this step. Marathi Mandir has been screening ‘DDLJ’ ever since its release, but this will be different. This will be the favourite Valentine’s celebration for Shah Rukh Khan fans.
Romance in Bollywood is not complete without SRK, and SRK’s biggest romance movie is arguably DDLJ, so it is the perfect treat for fans. On the other hand, ‘Titanic’ will be there to impress Hollywood fans and there is not a speck of doubt that it will do good business just like ‘Avatar’. While Valentine’s week is going on, couples will more likely be going to the theaters for romantic films, and these two films will be the perfect watches.
These two films are watched by fans over and over again and they have a huge nostalgic value and fans will flock to the theaters to watch the films again.
