Veetla Vishesham is a Tamil film that is a remake of a 2018 Hindi film. Normally, the subscriber base of Zee5 is so small that even Hindi films find it hard to garner great views let alone a film that is available in only a South Indian language.
But, a Tamil film has reached a record that is rare even for Hindi films. We are talking about the viewing counts which are rare for Zee5 to release.
They are not consistent with viewing stats unlike Netflix and they wait for viewing minutes to reach 100 million before they finally post it.

Veetla Vishesham was released on Zee5 on June 17. It is a remake of 2018 released highly successful Badhai Ho. It starred Ayushmaan Khurrana, Neena Gupta, and Sanya Malhotra in the lead role.
In the film, Neena Gupta gets pregnant while her eldest son who is old enough to marry. This leads to an embarrassing situation and the story of the family that shifts from shame to pride is the journey of the film.
It is highly entertaining and even the Tamil remake is decent enough. Without zero buzzes, Veetla Vishesham has reached the benchmark which was herculean even for Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad.
