Well, duh, a full-blown comedy show!
Directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, the director who made his directorial debut in 2016 with the Mammootty-starrer ‘Kasaba’, a brand new Malayalam comedy series titled ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ is en route to our screens! Streaming from July 19, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, the show stars National Award winner Suraj Venjaramoodu, alongside Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop in the leading roles.
The recently released trailer offers an insight into the light-hearted comedic adventure that awaits us. The show revolves around Nagendran, who finds himself stranded in the thick of the oddest form of a conundrum. He somehow finds himself marrying five different women, namely Janaki, Lillykutty, Lyla Sulthana, Savithrikutty, and Thankam.
However, his only attempt at evading the trouble caused by marrying five different women seems to be changing his name. From Nagendran to Joseph to Ali Hussain to Govindan to finally, Sukumaran. While his intentions may be pure, trouble seems to find him, nevertheless.
What ensues is total chaos and inevitably, hilarity as Nagendran’s friend tries to persuade him into doing what he’s been doing so far one last time.
Will Nagendran find true love in doing so? Or will the rest of his days be spent making sure all of his w(l)ives stay away from each other?
