Ladies and gentlemen, Knull is ready to make his presence known to the universe. The final trailer for the last Venom movie is here, and it looks promising, to say the least. The trailer shows the duo running from both the government and hunter aliens. But there’s one godlike being that steals the show, though we’ll save that for later.
Of course, we have Tom Hardy behind the black goo, with Chiwetel Ejiofor hunting him down. The third movie is set to expand the universe more than ever before, featuring multiple symbiotes and characters from the Venom mythos. We’ll also see Pat Mulligan taking up the mantle of Toxin, played by Stephen Graham. Interestingly, there will be a second Eddie Brock, according to the casting list, portrayed by Cristo Fernandez.
One character fans can now look forward to is Rhys Ifans. The actor played the role of The Lizard in the Sony Spider-Man Universe, and his version of the character reappeared in the MCU’s No Way Home. That same movie saw Eddie Brock being transported in and out of the Marvel Universe, with Venom even leaving a piece of himself on Earth-616.
Finally, we have Knull—the god and progenitor of all symbiotes. Although the character is relatively new, he has already irreversibly changed the Marvel Universe. Could we see Eddie raised to the status of the King in Black by the end, just as it happened in the comics? We’ll only know for sure when the movie comes out on October 25, 2024.
