After completing its theatrical run, Vidyut Jammwal’s action-thriller film ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha‘ is now set for its OTT premiere. Helmed by Faruk Kabir, ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2’ will have its digital premiere on Zee5 on 2nd September, 2022.
‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha‘ is a sequel to the 2020 direct-to-digital release ‘Khuda Haafiz’. The film picks up after Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) and Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi) are back to India, living a normal life after their tough times in the Middle East.
They even become parents after adopting Nandini who brings back happiness in their lives. While it was all going great, in a bizzare twist of faith, Nandini and one other girl get kidnapped from outside their school. With little time at his hands to save his daughter Sameer charges all in and is not ready to stop at any cost until he finds his daughter.
Vidyut Jammwal’s action thriller film ‘Khuda Haafiz’ was among the first few to go direct-to-digital on Disney+ Hotstar in 2020. And it later went on to become the first such OTT film whose sequel, ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha‘ released in theatres.
‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II: Agni Pariksha’ is written and directed by Faruk Kabir who had helmed the first part as well. Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi have reprised their roles in ‘Khuda Haafiz 2’. They are joined by Sheeba Chadha and Dibyendu Bhattacharya among others.
Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh and Ram Mirchandani have bankrolled ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II: Agni Pariksha’. The production companies behind the film are Zee Studios, Cinergy, Panaroma Studios and Action Hero Films. Mithoon and Vishal Mishra have given music for the film. ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II: Agni Pariksha’ is now set to release on Zee5 on 2nd September, 2022.
