Liger is all set for its theatrical release on August 25, stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey. The actor recently had a conversation with India Today while promoting the film. In the interview, he shared intriguing details about his upcoming sports action project. Plus, he made the talk spicy after opening his heart out about Laal Singh Chaddha’s failure and the ongoing “Bollywood boycott” trend.
On being asked about LSC’s disastrous performance and the current boycott culture, the actor said, “When you decide to boycott a film, you are not only affecting Aamir Khan, you are affecting thousands of families who lose work and livelihoods.”
The leading man pointed out that Aamir Khan is one of those actors who could attract a large number of moviegoers to theatres. Plus, he urged viewers to realise that the current distressful scenario is badly affecting our economy.
“… please realize you are not affecting Aamir Khan alone but the economy. It is a much bigger picture,” Vijay added.
Apart from Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey, the cast of Liger also consists of Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, and Mike “Iron” Tyson (extended cameo appearance).
