Jio Cinema has launched its latest web series ‘Kaalkoot’ starring Vijay Varma and Shweta Tripathi in the lead. Helmed by Sumit Saxena, ‘KaalKoot’ will premiere only on Jio Cinema on 27th July, 2023.
In the teaser video dropped today for ‘Kaalkoot’ Vijay Varma stars as a newly recruited police officer who is struggling in every facet of his life. From his mother pressuring him to look at the photos of prospective brides for him, to his seniors at work telling him how useless he is. On top of that spam calls add fuel to his frustration even more. But then one case of acid attack is what changes his life.
Directed by Sumit Saxena, ‘Kaalkoot’ stars Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, Seema Biswas, Yashpal Sharma, Gopal Datt and Suzanna Mukherjee among others.
‘Kaalkoot’ is produced by Ajit Andhare, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari. The production companies behind the show are Viacom18 Studios, Tipping Point and Leo Media Colkective. ‘Kaalkoot’ will start streaming only on Jio Cinema from 27th July, 2023 onwards.
