The first full-fledged trailer for Vijay’s Leo is here. And it is quite disappointing, considering the hype that the movie has generated in recent times. The pan-India movie hits theatres on 19th October, 2023.
The Leo trailer shows Vijay as the quintessential family man, with a young daughter he dotes on. However, the seemingly peace-loving Leo has a dark past, which catches up with him in the midst of snow-covered mountains.
The trailer gives us glimpses of Trisha as Leo’s wife, Sanjay Dutt as a ferocious villain, Gautham Vasudev Menon as a brave police officer, among others. Leo also stars Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Priya Anand and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles.
What’s disappointing about the Leo trailer is the lame action scenes and cringey dialogue. None of it is awe-inspiring or goosebumps-inducing. The action is humdrum, and Vijay himself is very ordinary – nothing worth the star status he enjoys among his fans.
Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, produced by 7 Screen Studios, and its music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Leo hits theatres on 19th October, in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Have a look at the trailer of the film –
