Vikram is perhaps the biggest Tamil film of the year so far. Ever since its announcement in 2020, fans are as excited as they could be and even the makers are leaving no stone unturned. Every detail so far from the film has been absolutely gripping and so was anticipated from the trailer.
Thankfully, the trailer does complete justice to the hype. There are guns showering bullets, eerie personalities, brilliant stunts and all with a dashing direction. The whole trailer promises mass entertainment and a brilliant theatrical experience.
Interestingly, the trailer does not reveal much about the film’s story. What we guess is that all three men are from the world of crime and higher understanding.
Regardless, Vikram is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Initially, the film was titled Thalaivar 169 but was later renamed Vikram. Mind you that in 1986, another film of the same name was released starring Kamal Haasan.
Apart from the legendary megastar Kamal Haasan, the movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. For the unversed, Vijay Sethupathi played the iconic character of Vedha in Vikram Vedha.
Fahadh Faasil is better known for his exceptionally brilliant work in the Malayalam cinema such as Joji and Malik.
Vikram will hit the theatres on 3rd June and the streaming rights have already been bagged by Disney+Hotstar. Looking at the trailer and buzz, it must do a massive theatrical run.
