Hardly 11. But, we already have a series that can be used as the standard for the entire year. We are talking about Black Warrant. The series by Vikramaditya Motwane started streaming on Netflix India just yesterday and the response is just brilliant. We are not talking about the response of the audience, it will take some time. However, the response it is getting from the critics and the entire industry is something worth appreciating.
Zahan Kapoor has given a performance that would be remembered for a long long time to come. His small career already has a project to boast about. The way he portrays the nuances of his character is something that must get him more projects from the industry but let’s wait to see what actually happens.
The best part of the series has to be its screenplay. The way Motwane has penned the entire screenplay makes it unshippable. You see, if you happen to read the book Black Warrant then it is an example of a page turner as you are keen on knowing what happens to those actual people mentioned in the book.
Similarly, you would wanna know what happens next in the series without any typical trope of a cliffhanger.
Moreover, Black Warrant is proof of good writing. Let’s see what the people are saying.

#BlackWarrant pilot episode opening sequence is absolutely aces. Just the right amount of drawing in and setup. And superb use of the cameo from a certain famous criminal.
