MX Player has dropped the trailer of its upcoming original web series ’Virodh’ and it’s a thrilling action packed gang war drama. Helmed by Rahul Dahiya, all episodes of ‘Virodh’ are streaming now on MX Player.
‘Virodh’ trailer shows how Teja, a gang lord involved in illegal sand mining who also has a strong hold on politics gets murdered along with his son. And behind all this is his very own power and money greedy brother Brijbhan.
To Brijbhan’s disappointment, his brother’s property gets inherited by his daughter Kajri, a young sportswoman. Brijbhan then hatches the conspiracy to get her married to his ally’s son and hence get in control of the property and election ticket. But will everything go according to his plan or will there be dangerous twists?
‘Virodh’ follows the story of Kajri (Pritha Bakshi), a young sportswoman whose life is turned upside down after the brutal murder of her father and brother. Fighting the odds of life with her mother, Kari finds herself at the mercy of her ruthless uncle Brijbhan, who takes over the family’s business and plans to marry her off to Vishesh, the son of a powerful local politician.
Defying Brijbhan’s plans, Kajri elopes with her high school sweetheart Gagan a.k.a Gogi (played by Abhinav Ranga), a javelin throw enthusiast, hoping to build a life together away from the violence and corruption that surrounds them. But their happiness is short-lived. On the run from Brijbhan and his henchmen, can Kajri and Gogi survive the dangerous world they find themselves in?
