Actor Suriya produced a movie called Viruman having actor Karthi in the lead role. Directed by M. Muthaiah, the film marked the debut of actress Aditi Shankar who worked opposite Karthi.
The film was released in the theatres on 12th August. No wonder being a decent Masala film helped the movie and it emerged as a commercial success.
Apart from the leading pair, Viruman stars Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, Soori, and Saranya Povannan in important roles.
The film is about a complicated relationship between a father and his son. The son assumes his father to be a sinner who is responsible for so many wrongdoings in his life, including the death of his mother. So, he never leaves a chance to take revenge on him.
Regardless, the commercially successful Viruman is all-set to release on OTT. The film will drop on streaming giant Prime Video on September 11th.
We all know that actor Suriya has strong ties with Prime Video. His highly important films Jai Bhim and Soorarai Pottru all dropped on Prime Video and so is happening with Viruman too.
But since Viruman is a masala film, it won’t be able to make that strong an impact amongst binge watchers.
But, if you want to watch Viruman on OTT then September 11th is the date it is.
