The official teaser for ‘Virupaksha’ has been released now. The movie stars Sai Dharam Tej and Samyukta Menon in the lead roles. Actors like Sunil, Ajay and Brahmaji are in other important roles. The film will hit the theaters on the 21st of April.
Virupaksha is directed by filmmaker Karthik Verma Dandu and the story and screenplay is written by filmmaker Sukumar. Previously the teaser was scheduled to release on the 1st of March but after the sudden death of a club president of Sai Dharam Tej’s fan club, the makers decided to release it on the 2nd.
The teaser manages to intrigue the viewers with its mystery. Though it looks somewhat similar to ‘Kantara’ or ‘Vetaal’ in parts, it definitely will interest audiences as a great mystery-action thriller. Virupaksha tells the story of a village in some crisis. The villagers go to the holy old man of the village for solutions, who in turn looks into some sacred book for answers. Sai Dharam fights goons while also looking for clues in the book. There is some strange ritual going on and villagers are getting affected by some supernatural presence.
Virupaksha teaser looks great and some visuals are stunning. The background is good and is able to engage the viewer. The music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The cinematography is handled by Shamdat Sainudeen. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam making it the actor’s first pan-Indian film.
Sai Dharam will next be seen in Vinodhaya Sitham alongside superstar Pawan Kalyan. Do not forget to watch Virupaksha when it releases in theaters.
