Young hero Vishwak Sen’s Paagal has released in theaters earlier this month. It is only of the early theatrical releases in Tollywood after the second wave and has ended up as an average grosser. The makers claim the movie has collected 12 Crore Gross worldwide in its full run, the makers claim.
Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video has picked up the Post-theatrical OTT rights of the film. The movie is releasing on September 3rd. That means the movie is releasing in the third week after its release. Producer Bekkem Venugopal has hinted about the release in an interview today.
Paagal is such a film that it has got decent premise but did not cross the line in the final output. It is made with good casting, novel point, good music and technical values. So, the movie will make a good watch on OTT. Moreover, Vishwak Sen’s films have always worked on OTT and will carry good expectations in the audience.
Paagal will be a decent precursor for Amazon Prime Video ahead of the big day I.e., the Direct-to-OTT release of Nani’s Tuck Jagadish on September 10th (Vinayaka Chaviti Special).
