Vivek Agnihotri’s next film titled ‘The Vaccine War’ will have its theatrical release on independence day next year. The title and the release date of the film was officially announced today. The Vaccine War will be releasing in a total 11 languages.
The movie will be produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts. They had produced the director’s last movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ too.
The film will tell India’s struggle during the pandemic days and the crisis Indians faced for vaccines. It will show how India succeeded against the dire straits and became totally vaccinated despite having such a huge population. It will have patriotic elements and the release on 15th August will most probably help in the business for this kind.
The Vaccine War will be the first Indian movie to release in 11 languages. It is quite unique for a Bollywood movie to have its release in so many languages. The movie will be available in theaters in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Punjabi and English. Not many production houses really focus on the dubbed release in Marathi, Bhojpuri or Bengali. Very obviously Vivek Agnihotri is targeting a larger audience and his conflict with ‘Bollywood’ seems to fuel his spirit of going against the stream.
He received great applause for the superhit ‘The Kashmir Files’ that released earlier this year and the huge views it got make it quite obvious that he has now a pre existing fan base who eagerly wait for his next venture.
The director is currently working on his next ‘The Delhi Files’. There was earlier an announcement made by the director about him partnering with Pushpa director Sukumar and producer Abhishek Agarwal that shook the internet.
