Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai starrer ‘Silence… Can You Hear It?’ is one of the most awaited films coming out on an OTT platform this year. This murder-mystery film is all set to premiere only on Zee5 on 26th March, 2021.
‘Silence… Can You Hear It?’ is helmed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, who has previously written and directed a short film titled ‘Teaspoon’. She is also known for her role as Kaira’s (Alia Bhatt) mother in ‘Dear Zindagi’. The film is a whodunit investigative thriller where a girl named Pooja gets murdered under mysterious circumstances and her body is found by a group of trekkers en route their trek. Checks out that Pooja is the daughter of retired Justice Chaudhary, who then requests that the case be handled by ACP Avinash Verma.
While the film’s premise is super interesting, the amazingly talented cast of Zee5’s ‘Silence… Can You Hear It?’ makes it even more intriguing. The film’s ensemble cast includes Manoj Bajpayee, making her OTT début Prachi Desai, Arjun Mathur, Sahil Vaid, Barkha Singh, Waqar Sheikh, Shishir Sharma and Sohaila Kapoor among others.

Manoj Bajpayee:
He will play the role of ACP Avinash Verma, who has his own strange, unconventional ways to handle cases and that does not always include following rules. And because of it he is been at odds with the commissioner himself. This no-nonsense, renegade officer, who now works for the narcotics department, is assigned to solve the murder mystery of Pooja, on special request by his father, retired Justice Chaudhary.
Prachi Desai:
The elegant and beautiful young actress who is making her digital début with Zee5’s ‘Silence… Can You Hear It?’ will be seen as Inspector Sanjana. She will be part of a special team of serious crimes officers assigned to work with ACP Verma to solve this murder mystery.
Arjun Mathur:
Arjun Mathur plays the role of Ravi Gupta who is an influential politcian. Nothing much is known about how his character will unfold and it will become clear only when the film premieres on 26th March.
Sahil Vaid and Waqar Sheikh:
Sahil Vaid and Waqar Sheikh will be seen as Inspector Amit and Inspector Raj respectively, in the movie. They are both part of the same special team of serious crime officers to which Inspector Sanjana belongs and are also working on the case led by ACP Verma.
Barkha Singh:
Barkha plays the role of Pooja Chaudhary, the girl who gets murdered. She was a young girl, who worked as kindergarten teacher and led a simple, uncomplicated life. And that’s what makes her murder a great mystery.
Shishir Sharma and Sohaila Kapoor:
They play the role of victim Pooja’s parent. Shishir Sharma will be seen as retired Justice Chaudhary and Sohaila Kapoor as Neela Chaudhary.
