Earlier it was going to be released on 27 May but the makers had to push the shooting dates due to Coronavirus. Fans have to wait a little more to watch the special episode of famous sitcom.
Kaufmann claims that Friends is a non-scripted show and they cannot shoot the reunion without live audience.Team is waiting for the right time to start the shooting, so that it’s safe to include the live audience as in the original. Every one of the 6 cast members- David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow – are set to participate in the erratic unique for HBO Max.
The reunion was initially expected to film back in March with a live audience. Those plans were rejected when the pandemic shut down entertainment industry. WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-to-Consumer administrator Bob Greenblatt then said in May that the organization was confident the episode would shoot before the finish of the summer.
