WandaVision: Marvel’s Defining Part Takes Backseat In Disney+ Show

We are just a few days away from the official drop and beginning of Phase 4, which begins with WandaVision. WandaVision is coming on Disney+ Hotstar on the 15th of January. We are technically already into the releasing week by now. The excitement seems real now as we grow closer to the show. Trust us when we say there hasn’t been anything at all to help us understand and know what actually might go down in that show. Nothing at all. Well, at least it was until a few days ago.

Now, there is something that we can look forward to as there has been an official screening for the first 3 episodes only for the critics. Even they are not allowed to have complete fun and we are somehow happy with it, why should always the critics have fun way before we do? So, coming to the point, this official screening bought in a lot of critics to review how the series will be. The critics have later revealed some very minute details through which we could get at least some sort of idea of what actually will go on.

According to many, a big part of what makes Marvel actually Marvel, will take a backseat this time. This is the “action”. Yes, you heard us right. WandaVision won’t be big on action, rather it will be true to what it has been showing the world through their trailers. The show actually will have a sitcom-esque thing going on, with the actors and comedy lines going in that manner. They have also mentioned, how Wanda Maximoff, our very dear Scarlett Witch will actually change through each episode.

Seems like they will be doing some kind of time traveling as far as the teasers, trailers, and reviews go. This time it will be different. Different than what we all have witnessed and keeping that mind, the show apparently hasn’t disappointed the toughest crowd, the critics basically. So now it will be up to us to see if we are ready to witness a show where action comes later than the others.

It is a big responsibility for Marvel too because they have been known throughout their existence to have these hardcore action scenes. That’s what has made fans go gaga over them and also the fact, it showcases people’s favourite superheroes too. So, taking a show in a completely different trajectory and still giving enough to the fandom is actually something, very hard. It is mostly like they will be coming out of their comfort zones and putting something forward, other than an action for the first time.

That being said, it doesn’t mean action will be completely lost. It will have its fair share and will take the driving seat whenever necessary, but for now at least it seems to have been assigned the backseat.

Well, with a few days in our hands let’s stay positive with our hopes and we believe we won’t be a letdown.
