Dhanush’s second directorial ‘Raayan’ is now out in the theaters, and fans are loving it. It was one of the biggest openings for a movie with an ‘A’ certificate and as we reported earlier, the certification seems to have built upon more intrigue around it. Raayan has a very successful opening and it might turn out to be one of the biggest hits from the Tamil industry this year.
Fans say that Dhanush’s performance is stunning and there is a visible influence of Vetrimaaran in the movie. It looks like ‘Asuran’ at times, in case of visuals and performances. But director Dhanush has surprised fans more than the actor Dhanush. He seems to have matured a lot after his first directorial and audiences now demand for more movies from him. An X user has even wanted a Dhanush directorial with Rajinikanth in the lead.
There are some negative criticisms as well. Some of the audience members say that the whole conflict of the movie did not have any logic and the movie fell apart after the conflict was revealed. The brother sister emotion and the revenge plot line seemed too predictable to some of the audiences, but with a wonderful screenplay this has been pulled off nicely.
The writing and execution are very good indeed and what mesmerized audiences is how well the character of Dushara Vijayan has been crafted. If you have not watched the movie yet, watch it in nearest theaters now.
