Watch These Hindi Political Satire Films Before Kathal On Netflix

Netflix is offering you a political satire movie Kathal. The film indirectly refers to a funny case in Uttar Pradesh when the whole police force was deployed to find some missing cattle of a powerful politician. The movie changes cattle with a Kathal which means jackfruit in Hindi.

Although not many, the Hindi film industry has some really good offerings to enjoy.

Peepli Live (2010): Netflix
Directed by Anusha Rizvi, “Peepli Live” is a dark satire that sheds light on the plight of farmers in rural India. The film follows the story of Natha, a debt-ridden farmer, who becomes the center of attention when he announces his intention to commit suicide for the sake of his family’s financial security.
