The film tells the story of Shekhar, who is a rich man. Shekhar is a loner and does not want to associate with people, rather he has an affinity for looking into the sky. His neighbour Mili is a lively girl who loves to talk and meet people. Her liveliness initiates a very unlikely friendship between Shekhar and Mili. Shekhar starts to behave normally, he tries to stop his addiction to alcohol too. But soon, he observes that Mili has stopped coming to his house. On enquiring, he gets to know that she has been seriously ill.
Mili can be said to be the Anand of women. Despite having so much in common, the treatment is completely different and is a purely romantic movie. Mili is a must watch and should not be missed at any cost. The music of the film is composed by Sachin Dev Burman and the cinematography is handled by Jaywant Pathare.
