Upon making a shocking return, she starts hailing herself as The OA (The Original Angel). What makes this scenario even crazier is that Prairie somehow gains vision and has scars on her back. The things that make this Netflix series a must-watch are originality and storytelling. Several reviewers have praised the show for dealing with an original concept. As for the storytelling department, the show excels at executing it in a compelling and thought-provoking manner. Additionally, we have the co-creator and leading star, Brit Marling, whose breathtaking take on the protagonist leaves us spellbound. The show’s creators, Marling and Zal Batmanglij, wanted to make a five-part mystery drama but were unable to do so as Netflix cancelled the show after its first two seasons, consisting of 16 episodes.
