Although Black Adam is not a typical DC masterpiece, it is quite a decent movie and we must appreciate the insane efforts put in by Dwayne Johnson in promoting the film. He connected with them all through social media handles and really created a buzz.
His hard work is reflected in the box office collection and overall reception of the film. But the vlogs of Dwayne Johnson haven’t stopped and it is getting hard for Warner Bros themselves.
It is no news that just before a few weeks, Warner Bros was an all-messed-up company that was simply incapable of handling the DC universe. Most of their decisions came out to be bad and bad only.
One bad decision that they were adamant about taking was refusing the return of Henry Cavill as Superman. The production company nodded to bring him back only after seeing the success of Black Adam.
The Black Adam actor said, “Of course, that is Superman, and that’s Henry Cavill. And at the end of the day, the studio was not bringing Henry Cavill back, inexplicably and inexcusably. But we weren’t going to take no for an answer.”
This shows how messed up Warner Bros was but thankfully things are expected to change now.
