‘Wednesday’ Season 2 To Be Even More Delightful For Fans!

Netflix’s supernatural comedy series ‘Wednesday’ is getting a lot of appreciation and is raking in good views on the streamer. While the series has not officially been renewed for a season 2, it seems showrunners have huge plans for the series going forward. One of their most important visions is to explore more of the characters and extend the screen time of the rest of the famous Addams family.

Even in a nearly 8-hour TV series, it is unfortunately impossible for all characters to get equal moments to shine and the Netflix series ‘Wednesday’ is no exception. A series based on a famous comic strip, it follows the coming-of-age story of our protagonist and title character Wednesday Addams. Though the rest of the members of the Addams family are as loved as our protagonist, they didn’t get the deserved screen time in Season 1, something the showrunners hope to rectify in the next season.

While the beloved characters were present in small cameos, fans are rallying to see more of Uncle Fester, Wednesday’s brother Pugsley and her parents Morticia Addams and Gomez Addams. While their small appearances have delighted fans, one of the most loved castings will be Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams.

While the bond between Wednesday and her family is an important connection in the series, the first season is more inclined toward the story of Wednesday finding her own path outside of her family. After causing trouble in all her previous schools, we see her being transferred to Nevermore Academy. Being the school Morticia also attended, the principal of the academy is her mother’s roommate Larissa Weems played by the ever-glorious Gwendoline Christie. Game of Thrones, Sandman, and now Wednesday, it seems the lady can do no harm( ahem).

While Netflix hasn’t renewed the series, with all the responses the show is getting, it seems it’s not only a question of IF but a question of WHEN. Let us hope we get to see more of the Addams family. It seems the show is only getting better from now on.
