Looks like Netflix has taken the foreign language contents quite seriously. After introducing a number of movies and series they have announced yet another Spanish series titled “Bienvenidos a Edén” or “Welcome to Eden“. The show is set to premiere on Netflix on May 6th. Netflix announced the date in a short clip which also teased the nature of the show. And netizens are expecting “Welcome to Eden” as a combination of “Euphoria” and “Elite”.
The show is created by Joaquín GórrizGuillermo and López Sánchez. The first season will consist of eight episodes. Amaia Salamanca, Lola Rodriguez, Begona Vargas, Belinda Peregrin, Sergio Momo, Claudia Trujillo, Sergio Momo, Albert Baró, Berta Castañé and Ana Mena are the cast members of the show.
The show is about a mysterious party which four young people are called for. The party is happening on an island and the young people call it paradise. Things go upside down when something bad happens. It is not clear what exactly is happening. The teaser which was released two weeks ago also didn’t share much information. But one thing is for sure. This show is going to be super exciting and from the reaction of the fans they are also waiting for this show.
Netflix’s one of the most successful shows in history “Money Heist” was also a Spanish series. Now they are back again with another Spanish series which is looking promising. “Welcome to Eden” will stream May 6th 2022 onwards in Netflix.
