Dhanush’s second directorial venture ‘Raayan’ is all set to have its theatrical release on the 26th of July. ‘Raayan’ is one of the most hyped Tamil movies of the year, and given the huge anticipation, it has high chances of breaking a few box office records.
S. J. Suryah plays the villain in the movie and he is one of the major USPs for audiences going to theaters and watching it. Suryah has proved himself again and again with his sharp screen presence and he is not dulled even in front of actors of Kamal Hassan’s career. Watching a face-off between Dhanush and Suryah is one of things that will highly interest the fans. They expect that in the climax there will be a confrontation between the two with heavy monologues from both actors, followed by a fight sequence.
The music is from A. R. Rahman and whenever we have seen Dhanush and A. R. Rahman collaborate, here has been an album of timeless appeal. The same is expected from Raayan as well.
The pre-bookings of the movie show that the movie will have a wonderful opening. The movie has been given an ‘A’ certificate, but after the humongous success of ‘Animal’, fans of Dhanush are more hopeful that Raayan might even become the first A rated Tamil movie to cross the 100 Crore mark.
